Update: Deb gives a likely explanation for her frivolity. Something about preventing the bottle from “sweating” all over whatever you sit them on. You know, there’s already a solution for that. They’re called “coasters.” Or if you’re a guy, whatever scrap pieces of paper you have lying around. That is, if you care.
