The rain came down hard on Friday. I didn’t mind it after I stopped worrying about keeping the mail dry. Then it was like being a kid playing out in the rain, only getting paid. And not really playing. Also, I really love it when people exclaim “Try to stay dry!” when you’re already soaking wet and the sky is opening up. That’s damn funny.

It was an ugly day on Friday. I was glad for you guys that the mail was relatively light (about 20K less than it had been all week). Back to normal again on Saturday but at least it wasn’t raining when you went out that day. Hope everyone stayed safe and the mail wasn’t tooooo waterlogged.
